Black Dome employees often hit the trails for a quick run. In fact, the race director of the Black Mountain Marathon is none other than our general manager, Jay Curwen. Former Black Dome employee Adam Pinkston is also the Shut-In race director. Black Dome sponsors both races.

Black Mountain Marathon & Mount Mitchell Challenge are a great set of races, and Jay does an awesome job as director. Only thing to note is get your application in early. I’ve had folks at races in Massachusettes & California ask when the ap’s were going to be available. Needless to say it’s very popular in the Ultra community! Thanks for sponsoring these races!
