We're not just some faceless warehouse that simply boxes up your order and sends it out; Black Dome is a full service shop with actual users for employees...

We have guys ridin' fixies to work, we have national champion adventure racers & we have climbers pulling down some of the hardest stuff around (and not really tellin' a soul about it...)

We are here to give you the best service as well as the best gear!  We will help you in selecting the right piece of gear for any of your outdoor needs and give you some beta on where to use it! Our employees enjoy yearly excursions to destinations like Yosemite, Jackson, the Colorado mountains, Whistler, the Red, the New, the Gunks, and of course our own spectacular mountains around Asheville, NC...

We do offer a selection of gear online- usually closeouts from a previous season or discontinued gear that we have bought specifically to pass the savings to you.  We are, however, a traditional mountain shop and we carry pretty much all major brands...If we don't have it in stock, we will be more than happy to it and we'll even ship it to you.
